This should be a zero star facility. The staff does not listen to your complaints and treat you like your issues don’t matter. There often is cross contamination from materials used from patient to patient without properly being cleaned. The food is horrible and the utensils are sometimes unsanitary. They are also extremely old. There is strong scent of urine and feces that often fill the hallways. Except to find bugs in your room from time to time. I can’t believe this place is still open. They also give water from the bathroom sink no filtered water. Updated: As of February 2025 things have gotten better under new management but there is still much more to improve. This new management is actually making an effort to improve while the other one didn’t even make an attempt. There are new water bottles for patients which, was much needed. They also are getting a dish washer. That should help with the cleanliness of the dishes. The staff are much friendlier and easy to get along with. I’d say they need to work on sanitation more. If one patient gets sick on the floor, it spreads like wildfire. You hear the sounds of coughing all day. Trying to contain that sickness into one room once spotted would help the spread tremendously. Also, if you are a light sleeper, don’t even bother coming you will always get woken up especially if you have a roommate who leaves the tv on constantly. I think the staff are accustom to a certain routine and a lot of them do not want to change it for anyone but maybe that is needed.

It breaks my heart to hear that employees and/or other patients stole clothes, shoes, snacks, charging cables, and more from my elderly relative during his stay here. We specifically bought him new shoes to help with his recovery for walking and it was stolen. Despite calling to clarify, employees did nothing to resolve this and did their best to dismiss it. How unethical. Considering to get higher authority involved to prevent this from happening to others since they will not investigate it themselves. Disappointing.
